Wyss Center’s Development Director elected to SATW

Dr Benoît Dubuis is to become a full member of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences.

The Swiss Academy of Engineering Science (SATW) has announced that Dr Benoît Dubuis, Development Director of the Wyss Center, is to become a full member of the academy.

Dr Dubuis is one of 13 full members, and 3 corresponding members, to be elected by the SATW in 2016 for their outstanding skills in the field of technical sciences.

The newly elected members, chosen by secret ballot, will be formally admitted and introduced in a ceremony during the SATW General Assembly on the 18 May 2016.

Dr Dubuis was nominated for his contribution in the promotion of Switzerland as a centre of science and technology, in particular in the field of bioengineering. He is Executive Director of Campus Biotech in Geneva, as well as Development Director of the Wyss Center, and has more than 20 years of international experience in the field of life sciences, both in industry and in academia.

The SATW is the principal organization for the communication of independent, objective and comprehensive information about technology. The academy promotes engineering sciences and new technologies in Switzerland.
