Wyss Center scientists and engineers will offer the public a peek at the future of neurotechnology on Tuesday 21 November 2017.
In celebration of the first Swiss Digital Day, and in collaboration with EPFL, the Wyss Center will give visitors to Geneva main station a behind-the-scenes look at neuroscience and neurotechnology in action. HD videos will display collaborative research with the University of Geneva, hepia, Brown University and EPFL, as well as giving an inside view of Campus Biotech’s clean rooms and facilities.
Visitors to the station will be invited to scan bionic mannequins with a custom augmented reality app to reveal the implanted neurotech devices that are already helping people with nervous system disorders and those that we are developing for the future.
Our new immersive virtual reality experience will also be on show – offering visitors a chance to take a virtual tour through the Campus Biotech clean room and even try their hand at making their own flexible brain probes.
Similar digitalswitzerland events will be held at railway stations throughout Switzerland with the aim of helping to strengthen Switzerland’s position as a leading digital player.
