Gilles Reymond, PhD

Gilles Reymond joined the Wyss Center in January 2017 to conduct new projects based on virtual reality technology and to provide innovative solutions to neuroscience research and translational applications.

Dr Reymond brings more than 20 years of experience both in academia and industry.

Career

He was involved in the design, development and project management of several industrial simulators for the automotive and transport industry. He conducted international collaborative projects combining industry and research labs. His research interests include integrative neuroscience, multi-sensory perception of motion, behavioral analysis and modeling, and experimental methods design using real-time interactive and immersive systems.

He holds a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Paris, an engineering degree from the Ecole Centrale Paris, and a specialization degree in computer science and robotics from Ecole des Mines de Paris.
