Human Resources Manager | Operations Team

Thalia Chaillet joined the Wyss Center in September 2019 as Human Resources Manager.

She is responsible for managing the Wyss Center’s Human Resources (HR) including the development and communication of HR rules and policies, managing recruitment, diversity and inclusion, training and career development, retention of key talent and collaborating with the Center’s leaders to implement strategies and processes for employee engagement.

She provides coaching and mentorship to facility staff and supports a culture of collaboration.

Career

Thalia brings more than fifteen years professional experience in HR. Before joining the Wyss Center, she worked for twelve years as HR Manager for one of the world’s largest independent commodities trading houses based in Geneva. She ensured effective HR services and support on fundamental processes in line with Swiss labor law and best HR practices.

Thalia also supervised the General Services team, providing guidelines and controls, planning ahead for facilities development in line with strategic business objectives and ensuring office related risks and health & safety requirements were met in collaboration with the Health and Safety Manager.

She previously worked in HR, Legal and Administration in different fields such as Oil, Family office and the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Haïti.

Thanks to her background, she can easily interact and collaborate with people from different environments and cultures which she finds incredibly enriching both personally and professionally. She is a strong believer that employee’s satisfaction at work increases efficiency and contributes to the company’s success.
