Thalia brings more than fifteen years professional experience in HR. Before joining the Wyss Center, she worked for twelve years as HR Manager for one of the world’s largest independent commodities trading houses based in Geneva. She ensured effective HR services and support on fundamental processes in line with Swiss labor law and best HR practices.
Thalia also supervised the General Services team, providing guidelines and controls, planning ahead for facilities development in line with strategic business objectives and ensuring office related risks and health & safety requirements were met in collaboration with the Health and Safety Manager.
She previously worked in HR, Legal and Administration in different fields such as Oil, Family office and the Delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Haïti.
Thanks to her background, she can easily interact and collaborate with people from different environments and cultures which she finds incredibly enriching both personally and professionally. She is a strong believer that employee’s satisfaction at work increases efficiency and contributes to the company’s success.
